Town And City Festival Hits Lowell, Waxahatchee: MA Weekend Events

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Downtown Lowell will be taken over this weekend with a Friday and Saturday music festival featuring both big names and opportunities to catch acts you may have never engaged with before.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Colleen Green and Air Traffic Controller are among Patch's recommendations to check out during the festival, but more than 65 acts will be present during the two-day event.

There are other big names and celebrations happening across the state this weekend, with the budding star Sexyy Red bringing her raunchy hip-hop to Boston and bookstores celebrating Independent Bookstore Day in their communities.
