UK's Fastest Growing Canned Cocktail Enters MA Market: MA Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — Canned cocktails have become a big deal in the United States, and a brand from across the pond is trying to join in on the market.

MOTH, short for "Mix of Total Happiness", is the UK’s fastest-growing premium ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktail brand. After expansion in the UK, the brand is coming to America, including spots in stores across Massachusetts.

The company is bringing four classic cocktail options to the U.S., including a margarita, espresso martini, mojito, and piña colada. The cocktails can be purchased in packs of single flavor four packs that range in price from $19.99 to $25, company officials said.

MOTH cocktails are available in over 50 retailers across Massachusetts and a collection of Total Wine & More’s stores across Florida. Officials said national online direct-to-consumer sales are in the works.
