2 Arrested Following Altercation, Gunshot: Police

The suspected shooter was arrested on several charges, while the woman involved was in possession of drugs and had warrants out, police said

BOXBORO, MA — Two people were arrested late Wednesday night following an altercation that included at least one gunshot outside a home.

Police arrived to a Davidson Road home following neighboring reports of shots fired. No one was injured.

The man suspected to be the shooter, Kyle Jon Bailey, 31, of Boxboro, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to murder while armed with a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.

Police said the incident occurred outside Bailey's home.

Police also arrested Hannah Langley, 29, of Fitchburg, and charged her with having possession of a class B substance (prescription drugs.) She was also arrested on a warrant from Fitchburg on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a burglarious instrument, larceny of a motor vehicle, and breaking and entering into a vehicle during the daytime to commit a felony.

There is no danger to the public, police said.

Bailey and Langley are expected to be arraigned Thursday in Ayer District Court.
