2 Woman Arrested In Heroin, Cocaine Busts: Littleton PD
A months-long investigation of a Littleton home resulted in the arrests.

LITTLETON, MA — A months-long investigation resulted in two woman being arrested on heroin and cocaine charges, Littleton Police Chief Matthew Pinard said.
Police had been surveilling a Littleton Road home in Ayer, close to the Littleton town line. They arrested Katherine Shipton, 40, of Shirley shortly after noon when Shipley left the house.
Shipton allegedly left police on a brief pursuit on King Street. A K-9 Unit located more than 40 grams of cocaine and several hundred dollars of cash, police said.

Two hours later, police arrested Dawn Flynn, 47, of Ayer when she left the house. Police said they recovered four grams of heroin, one gram of cocaine and cash from her vehicle.
A total of $1,278 was seized.

Flynn was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug (cocaine) and possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin.)
Shipton was charged with trafficking in cocaine and failure to stop for police.
Both women are expected to be arraigned Friday in Ayer District Court.
