2016 Presidential Primary: How Did the Candidates Do in Middlesex County?

How did Acton's results compare to the rest of the county?

ACTON, MA—Businessman Donald Trump and Secretary Hillary Clinton took the overall prize in the Commonwealth, but how did they do on a more local level?

According to data aggregated by the New York Times, Trump won every county in Massachusetts with at least 40 percent of the Republican vote. However, Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders seemed to split the counties down the middle, with Clinton winning the more populous regions of the state.

As we already know, Clinton took 52.78 percent of the Acton vote on the Democratic ticket. Clinton also took 51.8 percent of the vote in Middlesex County, a number that is consistent with her performance in town.
