2016 Presidential Primary: Who Does Middlesex County "Like" Most?

If Facebook likes equaled presidential votes, who would Middlesex County elect as its next president?

What if Facebook likes were equivalent to presidential votes? Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight blog put that idea to the test.

According to the report, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders would beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by a margin of nearly 3-to-1 across the country and Donald Trump would have more votes than U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio combined, FiveThirtyEight reported.

Massachusetts followed the trend, with 40 percent giving a virtual thumbs-up to Sanders and 22 percent liking Trump. 13 percent of Massachusetts’ share of likes went to Clinton. Cruz had six percent and Rubio had five percent of the Commonwealth’s likes, according to the report.
