4 Men Flee Town After Resident Reports Them as Being Suspicious

A Massachusetts Avenue resident called the Acton Police Department on Oct. 11 after 4 men dressed as construction workers approached him at his apartment.
According to Acton police, the men claimed they were there for a job.
The resident called his landlord, who said he knew nothing about such a job.

The men left the area in a brown Infinity SUV with Rhode Island plates.
Boxborough police were notified.

The men were described as two white males and two black males wearing plastic hard hats. One of them was also wearing a backpack.
In other police news from Oct. 11:
- A Taylor Road resident reported seeing a sick fox. Fox was gone when officers arrived.
- Officers responded to a Windsor Avenue residence for an alarm coming from the dining room. After investigating it was found cleaners had accidentally tripped the alarm.
- Officers responded to an accident on High Street that was thought to be a hit-and-run. Description of the car that allegedly fled was a blud Volkswagen.
- A Grist Mill Road resident reported hearing noises coming from her garage. Officers responded and the scene was checked and cleared.
