88 Millionaires in Acton, Report Says

There are 88 millionaires living in Acton, according to a new report.

The Boston Business Journal this week released its 2015 Millionaire Report, which found the total earnings of the hundreds of millionaires in the state was nearly $50 billion in 2012—up about a third from 2010. The report was based on 2012 tax filings.

Here’s how Acton broke down, according to the Journal’s report:

• 2013 Population: 22,891
• Income per capita (2011): $55,932
• Millionaire filers in 2012: 88
• Millionaire filers in 2011: 63
• Millionaire filers in 2010: 64

• Lexington: 379 millionaires, $3.76 million average income
• Concord: 303, $4.11 million
• Lincoln: $139, $3.84 million
• Acton: 88, $2.68 million
• Carlisle: 58, $2.97 million

• Chelmsford: 38, $4.75 million
