Acton Authorities Help Rescue Horses After Barn Collapses
The incident happened Friday in Westford.
Two horses reportedly died Friday when a barn collapsed in Westford. Five more horses were rescued.
The collapse was reported at Bobby’s Ranch on Durkee Lane at about 10:30 a.m.
CBS Boston reported heavy snow on the roof caused the collapse.

Rescuers from Acton and Andover responded to the scene to help rescue the horses.
About 5 feet of snow has fallen on Westford in February, heightening the risk of building collapses.
