Acton-Boxborough Listed In Top 100 MA Schools For 2020

Acton-Boxborough was listed at 58 in Niche's list of the top 100 schools in the state.

ACTON, MA — Acton-Boxborough High School made the list of the top 100 schools in Massachusetts. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. Acton-Boxborough made the cut coming in at 58 — it was the only school from Acton to make the list.

Whether a school finished first or 100th, there's not really a bad spot on the list. They all received A+ grades from Niche.

Acton-Boxborough has 1,863 students with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. According to state test scores, 96 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 98 percent in reading. Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of college prep for public high schools, STEM for public high schools and public high schools in the state.

Acton-Boxborough has a graduation rate of 97 percent and an average SAT score of 1360, according to Niche.
