Acton Boy, 4, Revived After Being Pulled Unconscious From Pool

It happened at an Acton summer camp Wednesday.

Acton police said a 4-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from a pool Wednesday morning and revived.

The incident happened at the outdoor pool at the Teamworks sports facility on Great Road. The boy was attending a summer camp, police said.

Police and firefighters found the boy unconscious at about 11:30 a.m. Medical personnel revived him—the boy was crying on the ambulance ride to Boston Children’s Hospital, police said.

Witnesses at the scene told police a lifeguard “acted quickly” to remove the boy from the pool. The boy lives in Acton, police said.

A young boy who was attending a summer camp this morning at the Teamworks Acton facility was removed from the pool by a lifeguard, when he was removed from the pool the boy was breathing but unresponsive, EMT’s arrived and the boy was taken by ambulance to Children’s Hospital. Beyond that, we have no further information at this time.
