UPDATE: Acton Fire Truck Collides with SUV, Heavy Damage

ACTON, MA—An Acton Firetruck collided with a SUV late Wednesday evening in Acton, sending one firefighter to the hospital.

Acton Police Chief Pat Futterer told Patch that the accident occurred at the intersection of Parker and High Streets. One of the firefighters was taken to the hospital, but was subsequently released.

Futterer told Patch that the firetruck sustained heavy front end damage, and the SUV rolled over and sustained heavy damage. The driver of the SUV was taken to hospitals for injuries not known at this time.
