Acton to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Zoning Changes

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

ACTON, MA—The Town of Acton is scheduled to hold a public hearing on five proposed zoning changes.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 in Town Hall. The Acton Planning Board is organizing the forum to discuss proposed zoning bylaw and map changes. The proposed changes are as follows, according to the Acton Planning Department:

  1. Comprehensive amendments to the Kelley’s Corner zoning district
  2. Amendments concerning accessory apartments
  3. Amendments to the definition of ‘family’
  4. Amendments concerning residential common drives
  5. Rezoning of ±1/2-acre parcel of land at 116 Concord Road (Morrison Farm) to Residence 2 (R-2).

Proposals are available at the Planning Department and at the Town Clerk’s office.
