ACTON, MA—An Acton man joined many others in shaving his head and beard during the One Mission Cancer Buzz Off Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
Donald Stone of Acton participated in the event for the third time Saturday, shaving both his head and beard. Stone told Patch that the event holds a special place in his heart.
"I lost my mom, step mother and my father-in-law to cancer," Stone said."I just wanted to give something back. I don't ride a bike so this was a good opportunity to do something and raise some money for a good cause."
