Acton Car Acidents of 2011

1).

• A 17 year-old female from Groton, crashed into a 61 year-old male from West Townsend. Male was pronounced dead.

• According to the Acton Police, 19-year-old Jacob Victor, of 10 Heather Hill Road, Acton, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor when he crashed his BMW into two telephone poles and a tree Tuesday night at 11:28 p.m. on Prospect Street, Acton. He was also charged with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding the speed limit.

• A car crashed into the woods on Route 2 near Route 111 - Woman hospitalized.

• A South Boston female was injured when she crashed her vehicle into a guardrail this morning on route 2 in Acton. She was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

• Car rolled over into 'Duck Pond' this morning - driver OK.

6).

• Mid-morning Route 2 car accident is currently under investigation by Massachusetts State Police. Driver of a Pick-Up Truck runs red light and crashes into another car.

7).

• Minor injuries were reported when an accident occurred on the Concord Route 2 rotary between a Motorcycle and an SUV.

8).

• The Acton Police department released the names of the vehicle operators in Friday night's accident.
