Acton Police Investigating Armed Bank Robbery

The Acton Police Department is searching for an adult male wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery today.

According to a press release from Acton police, the armed robbery happened at 2:30 p.m. at the Middlesex Savings Bank branch at 577 Massachusetts Ave.

"The lone suspect entered the bank armed with a firearm and demanded money from the tellers," the release reads. "The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running towards Arlington Street. No one was harmed during the robbery."

Acton police are searching for a white adult male in his early 20s. He has a medium build and was last seen wearing a dark colored pullover, blue jeans and tan work-style boots.
