Acton Police Log from Dec. 5 - 10

Medical Complications:

  • 12/5/11 - 4:10 p.m. - Route 2: The Massachusetts State Police informed the Acton Police that a pregnant female was experiencing complication and that the black Ford Focus parked on the side of the road was going to be picked up by a family member.

Accident:

  • 12/5/11 - 5:28 p.m. - Lothrop Road: A caller reported that while he was backing out of his driveway he accidently hit a female runner. The runner was OK.

  • 12/6/11 - 10:07 a.m. - Audubon Drive: Police responded to a report about an elderly female that was struck and knocked to the ground by a vehicle.

Trees and Wires:

  • 12/8/11 - 9:51 a.m. - Hatch Road: NSTAR was notified about a tree that took down wires.

  • 12/8/11 - 5:21 p.m. - School Street: Police responded to a party blowing leaves into the street.

Black Market Machinery:

  • 12/9/11 - 1:13 p.m. - Keefe Road: Someone reported male subjects in an older blue Chevy truck with Texas plates attempting to sell machinery.

The Laundry Room:

  • 12/10/11 - 1:11 p.m. - Great Road: Someone reported that he noticed someone attempting to steal a moneybox from the laundry room.

Bathtub Trouble:

  • 12/10/11 - 6:06 p.m. - Drummer Road: EMS responded to a report about a 12 year-old male who swallowed something from the bathtub. The boy was transferred to Emerson.
