Acton Police Log from Dec. 19-26

Malicious destruction:

  • Dec. 19, 12:05 a.m., Great Rd.: The police responded to a Great Road resident who reported his car had been vandalized.

Missing mail:

  • Dec. 19, 10:11 a.m., Hartland Way: Police spoke with a resident about some missing mail; the resident left the building and said he/she was stopping at the post office.

  • Dec. 20, 3:44 a.m., Nagog Park Dr.: Police responded to a report suspicious activity around Nagog Park. When they arrived, the person in question said he was just out for a walk.

Missing person:

  • Dec. 20, 3:09 p.m., School St.: Concord Police requested an officer head to a School Street address to help locate a 16-year-old female who walked away from a group home in Arlington.

  • Dec. 20, 4:16 p.m., School St.: A resident reported that a female phoned the resident and, after revealing she knew the resident's name, address as well as phone number, asked where she did her banking. The resident hung up.

Employee stealing:

  • Dec. 20, 4:30 p.m., Main St.: A caller reported his employee was stealing. Police spoke to him and advised him of his options.

He works there:

  • Dec. 21, 7:02 p.m., Powdermill Rd.: Police responded to a call about a suspicious activity/person. Upon arrival, they were told the person in question worked at the nearby Stop & Shop.

Malicious destruction:

  • Dec. 22, 9:35 a.m., River St.: Police responded to a call about a vandalized vehicle.

Landlord issues:

  • Dec. 22, 12:39 p.m., Strawberry Hill Rd.: Police responded to a civil complaint from a female about landlord issues.

Harassing texts:

  • Dec. 22, 2:15 p.m., Azalea Ct.: Police spoke to a female about threatening and harassing text messages.

Not stolen, just rolling:

  • Dec. 22, 7:58 p.m., Great Rd.: Police responded to a call about a stolen vehicle. The car was not stolen, it had rolled down hill.

Noisy tenant:

  • Dec. 23, 2:20 a.m., Great Rd.: Police responded to a call about noisy tenants resulting in a verbal argument.

Unwanted guest:

  • Dec. 23, 11:13 p.m., Powdermill Rd.: Police responded to a call for assistance with an unwanted guest. The party in question had left by the time police arrived.

Annoying calls:

  • Dec. 24, 3:35 a.m., Main St.: A son reported his mother called his workplace 36 times.

Suspicious truck, missing sign:

  • Dec. 24, 8:36 a.m., High St.: A resident reported he heard a noise while in bed and saw a pickup truck parked on the side of the road. When he woke up, the road sign from Hatch Road was missing.

Mailbox crash:

  • Dec. 24, 10:46 p.m., School St.: Police responded to a call that a vehicle had struck a mailbox. The parties agreed to work out the issue.

Suspicious vehicle:

  • Dec. 25, 12:18 p.m., Newtown Rd.:  Police responded to a request for an officer check a car occupied by a male who had been seen in the parking lot for several weeks.

Medical transport:

  • Dec. 26, 11:30 a.m., Strawberry Hill Rd.: Police responded to a call about an 85-year-old female with a knee injury.
