A Jewelry store break, a person thought someone was breaking into her home, a suspicious Tweet, an odd call to the police and more....

Jewelry Store Break:

  • 11/29/11 - 12:55 a.m. - Great Road: Police responded to alarm activation at J. Olson Jewelers and noticed the front glass (door or window) was broken.

Threats on Strawberry Hill:

  • 11/29/11 - 1:12 a.m. - Strawberry Hill Road: Police responded to a report about a neighbor screaming and making threats against another neighbor.

  • 11/29/11 - 3:04 p.m. - blue Heron Way: Someone called the police to report that someone was trying to break into her house. When police arrived they found out it was just a crew of men cleaning the gutters.

Suspicious Tweet:

  • 11/30/11 - 12:37 a.m. - Drummer Road: Police responded to a report about a suspicious tweet (social media) left on a computer.

No Telephone Book:

  • 11/30/11 - 5:19 p.m. - High Street: Someone called the police to report that she did not have a telephone book and wanted no further assistance.

Buck Knife:

  • 11/30/11 - 7:50 p.m. - School Street: A concerned mother reported to the police that her 13 year-old son had a buck knife that she does not think he should have. She stated that her son’s friend threatened him with the same knife. She said her husband now has possession of the knife.

Greyhound:

  • 12/1/11 - 3:12 p.m. - Pope Road: Someone reported that a black Greyhound was running around in a field off of Pope Road with no one around. The dog officer was notified.
