Acton Police Log from November 21 - 25

A swastika in Acton, a customer throws merchandise, a woman rescues two dogs on route 2 and more.

Rescued on Route 2:

  • 11/21/11 - 1:40 p.m. - Mass Avenue: A motorist called the police to report that she had picked up two dogs on route 2 and would drop them off at Palmer Kennels.

Throwing Merchandise:

  • 11/21/11 - 5:35 p.m. - Great Road: An employee reported that a female customer was refusing to leave and was throwing merchandise.

  • 11/22/11 - 11:29 a.m. - Conant Street: At 7:30 a.m. a female was walking her dog when she came across an elderly man lying on the ground. She helped him up and walked him back to his house. She requested that police check up on him.

False Alarm:

  • 11/23/11 - 12:24 a.m. - Parker Street: Police received a call from a Maynard resident that said a female party may have taken a bottle of pills. The party was located in Stow and police found no medical issues.

  • 11/25/11 - 1:51 p.m. - Route 2: Police received a report that there was a white swastika painted on a rock. Mass highway was notified.
