Acton Police Log from November 7 - 12

Lots of cat stories in the log, two homes were egged, a missing wife, a possible overdose and more.

Egged:

  • 11/7/11 - 3:40 p.m. - Central Street: Someone reported that her house was egged overnight.

Jewelry Mystery:

  • 11/7/11 - 7:19 p.m. - Simon Willard Road: Someone called the police to report that someone may have stolen her jewelry from her home.

  • 11/8/11 - 10:59 a.m. - Disclosed Location: Someone called the police to report that his wife was missing and is possibly suicidal. Police contacted Virgin Mobile and they located her phone's GPS, which was in Vermont.

Egged:

  • 11/8/11 - 3:31 p.m. - Mohawk Drive: Someone reported to the police that his house was egged overnight.

  • 11/9/11 - Davis Road: From 2:14 p.m. to 2:35 p.m., a woman from David Road called the police six times to report that she had a missing cat in Waltham.

Hard Times:

  • 11/9/11 - 4:07 p.m. - Concord Road: A male party with a metal detector was digging holes in the soccer field.

Cat Bite:

  • 11/10/11 - 11:18 a.m. - Main Street: Police sent a faxed report to about someone who was bit by a cat on Main Street.

Possible Overdose:

  • 11/11/1 - 1:35 p.m. - Disclosed Location: A mother called the police to report that her son took a half a bottle of Trazodone and left his vehicle. Police searched the area.

Fat Cat Named Mannie:

  • 11/12/11 - 5:49 p.m. - Stow Road: Reports about a missing black heavyset cat with a red collar named Mannie has been missing for the past three days.
