Acton Police Log from September 23 - 25

Lost in the woods, a sick fox, an incident at McDonald's and more.

All information was provided by the Acton Police Department:

Sick Fox:

  • 9/23/11 - 1:21 p.m. - Kennedy Lane: Someone called the police to report a sick fox. The fox was sitting in place and not moving. The Environmental Police were advised.

  • 9/23/11 - 8:05 p.m. - Wheeler Lane: Police received a call about someone in the conservation area honking their horn. Two teenagers and an adult had gone into the woods with survival gear and got lost. The parties were located.

The Baby Formula:

  • 9/24/11 - 11:43 a.m. - Azalea Court: Police received a call from a concerned woman who reported seeing a sign on a telephone pole that said, "We Buy Baby Formula." She was concerned because she once saw on TV that drug dealers use baby formula to cut drugs.

  • 9/24/11 - 3:21 p.m. - Great Road: A 911 call from McDonald's reports that an employee was beaten by her girlfriend. The Manager reported that the subject had an injured wrist.

Just A Minute Man:

  • 9/25/11 - 3:30 p.m. - High Street: Someone called the police to report a loud bang. It was a musket fired by the Minuteman.
