Acton Police Log: October 1 - 2

A wedding bartender steals all the bar money - $520 stolen from a garage - A concern about a possible depressed teenager - and more.

Garage Theft:

  • 10/1/11: 12:36 a.m. - Faulkner Hill Road: A $420 bike and two tennis rackets ($100) were stolen from the garage of the person who called to report it.

Erratic Route 2:

  • 10/1/11 - 1:59 a.m. - Route 2: State Police reported an erratic SUV on Route 2 West, headed toward Newton Road.

  • 10/1/11 - 8:26 a.m. - Elm Street: Police received a report about a smoke alarm that would not stop.

Trash Can Traffic Hazard:

  • 10/1/11 - 3:01 p.m. - Route 2: Police were notified about a trash can that was on Route 2 off of Taylor Road.

  • 10/1/11 - 5:11 p.m. - Ledge Rock Way: Police responded to a report about a bartender working a wedding at NARA who left the wedding with all the bar money.

Fighting and Yelling:

  • 10/1/11 - 6:25 p.m. - Davis Road: Police spoke to a female party regarding fighting and yelling that has been taking place for the past month.

Walking in the Yellow Line:

  • 10/2/11 - 2:23 p.m. - Piper Road: A caller reported that a teenage male was walking in the middle of the road and was not moving for traffic. The caller reported that she was concerned that he may be depressed.
