Acton Police Log: Possible Impostor of a State Trooper

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Dance Party Traffic Violation:

  • 2/16/12 - 8 p.m. - Main Street: Police received a report about a man dancing in the middle of the road. The man was gone upon police arrival.

Possible Imposter of a State Trooper:

  • 2/17/12 - 5:51 a.m. - Main Street: A man was pulled over by another man at the Sunoco gas station wearing an army uniform and driving a white truck. The person said he was a state trooper, asked for the drivers information and drove off after telling him he did not have his citation book. Acton police contacted the Concord state police to see if there had been any recent activity from one of their troopers driving a white truck. No further information was provided.

  • 2/17/12 - 8:35 a.m. - Central Street: Police received a report about a driver that did not stop for the school bus. 

Suspicious Item Turns Out to Be Normal:

  • 2/17/12 - 9:32 a.m. - Prospect Street: Police responded to a neighbor dispute. One neighbor thought he saw something suspicious in the other neighbors yard, which turned out to be a bird feeder.

  • 2/17/12 - 4:27 p.m. - Hayward Road: Police broke up a group of  fighting teenagers and brought one teen back to the station.

Backyard Vodka Bottle:

  • 2/17/12 - 5:38 p.m. - Concord Road: Someone reported that a vodka bottle was thrown from his neighbor's yard onto his lawn.
