Acton Police Respond to Commotion Near McDonald's; Threats Investigated

The Acton Police Department responded to Great Road at 5:14 p.m. on Sept. 20 after receiving a report of a man and women causing a disturbance.
The parties were reportedly arguing in front of McDonald's with a baby.
Officers were told the male was driving an SUV while the female walked away.

Officers checked the area, but both parties were gone.
Acton police were also called to a Strawberry Hill Road residence for a report of threats.

Officers spoke with the person who reported the threats.
No arrests were made.
In other police news from Sept. 20:
- Officers were dispatched to Sachem Way at 12:42 a.m. for a report of someone sounding as if he or she was hurt. The area was checked, but nobody was found.
- Officers responded to a Taylor Road residence for a report of a sick fox. The fox was gone when officers arrived.
- A Putter Drive resident reported a stolen lawn tractor.
