Acton Police Revive Suspected OD Victim In Crash
The operator of a vehicle in a car crash needed two doses of Narcan to be revived.

ACTON, MA — A suspected overdose victim had to be revived with Narcan after police found him in the driver's seat of a car that had just been in a crash Thursday on Spruce Street, police said.
Officers responded at 3:45 p.m. to an accident on Spruce Street at Mass. Ave. A woman said a Honda Accord was stopped at a stop sign before proceeding toward Main Street when the Accord abruptly stopped and backed into her vehicle.
The driver of the Accord, Patrick Fitch of Boxborough, was found with a pulse but not breathing. Narcan had no immediate effect, but a second dose revived him. (Subscribe to Acton Patch or like us on Facebook for more local news.)

Fitch was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, operating to endanger and possession of a class A substance. He was brought to the hospital and will be arraigned today.
Fitch's passenger,Bethany Funkhouser, was arrested for possession of a class A substance and will also be arraigned today.

The damage to both vehicles appeared to be under $1,000. The woman in the other vehicle was not injured.
