Acton Resident to Compete in Boston's Run to Remember

Brianna Faubert of Acton is running as a part of the RUN to End Alzheimer's team.

ACTON, MA—On the heels of the 2016 Boston Marathon, an Acton resident is taking part in the 2016 Boston's Run to Remember event.

Brianna Faubert of Acton will compete for the RUN to End Alzheimer's team, a part of the Alzheimer's Association's Massachusetts and New Hampshire chapters. Faubert is a licensed nursing assistant at an assisted living facility in Dover, NH, according to a release from the Alzheimer's Association.

“Alzheimer's disease impacts so many families," said Faubert in the release. "By working as an LNA, I have been able to fully understand how Alzheimer's effects the well being and life of an individual. I feel that the Alzheimer’s Association is a great way to spread awareness. I am very excited to raise awareness and funds for the cause and support loved ones everywhere."

Boston's Run to Remember is a half marathon or a five mile run through downtown Boston. It takes place on May 29 and begins at 7 a.m. at Seaport Blvd.
