Acton Student Writes Bomb Threat on Bathroom Wall: Police
Police responded to the McCarthy-Towne School in Acton Tuesday, and a protective sweep of the school was performed.

ACTON, MA—A McCarthy-Towne School student was found to have scribbled a bomb threat on a bathroom wall at the Acton school Tuesday.
According to a release from Acton Deputy Chief of Police Richard Burrows, Police received the report of the threat at 10:26 a.m. for a pencil-scribbled note on a bathroom wall. Subsequent investigation determined a student at the school was identified as having written the note, and police say the school will handle the matter internally.
Students were sheltered in place during a protective sweep of the school, and no threats were found.
