Acton Teen Faces Malicous Destruction Charge

The Acton Police Department arrested a local teenager on Sept. 22 for an incident that occurred at 25 Ledge Rock Way.

According to the police log, Chaney A. Osborne, 19, of 254 Brown Bear Crossing, Nagog Woods, was arrested at 7 p.m. and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250.

The arresting officer was John Collins.

In other police news from Sept. 22:

• Officers responded to Smart Road for a report of possible gunshots or fireworks. Cause was not located.
• Officers responded to a report of a child with a laceration to the head on Main Street.
• The police department received a call of a vehicle that was damaged by a tree branch. The damage was to the antenna.
• Bank employees on Massachusetts Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle in the back. It turned out to be a cleaner waiting for the bank to close.
