Acton Video Signals Closing After 28 Years

After 28 years in business, the final credits are rolling for the Video Signals shop in Acton.
Owner Charles Kilby is closing the store to focus on its Maynard location.
“There is obvious competition from online streaming sources,” Kilby said. ”The winter weather impacted us as well.”

Video Signals was started in the 1980s by Mike and Lelah Willoughby. In 2006, Kilby and his wife bought business, which is located at 485 Great Rd.
“We have many customers who have been with us for many years,” Kilby said.

His Maynard store is a larger space that includes a paint-your-own pottery business.
There will be a liquidation sale at the Acton location, with DVDs and video games available at half off.
