Acton Weather: Will the Snow Melt?

A look at Acton's extended forecast.

ACTON, MA—The kids were off school today due to the snowy conditions, and while significant accumulations aren’t expected for the rest of the week, we could be dealing with some more wintry weather in Acton.

The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow showers on both Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, accumulations may reach less than an inch on Tuesday and there is not projected to be any further accumulation Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Tuesday: A slight chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 29. North wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Wednesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Thursday: A chance of snow showers, mainly between 9am and 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 24.
