Acton Wife Charged With Domestic Crime Against Husband
The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Acton Police Department responded to a Coolidge Drive residence on Oct. 6 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.
After Officer David Joachim arrived, a male subject reported his wife had slapped him.
After Joachim completed an investigation, which included speaking to the wife, Sandra I Burney, 38, of 3 Coolidge Drive, was arrested.

She is charged with assault and battery.
The incident happened at 8:45 p.m.

- Two males walking along Massachusetts Avenue at 7:53 a.m. were advised not to hitchhike. They had just been released from custody in Boxboro.

- Officers investigated a report of illegal dumping on Parker Street.

- Officers responded to Main Street on a report of a suspicious male in a yellow hoodie. The subject was waiting to be picked up by his mother.
- Officers responded to Central Street on a report a male subject was putting a stolen TV in a red car.
