Acton Youth Summer Baseball Registration Now Open until 5/21!

Registration for Acton Boxborough Youth Baseball Summer Registration Now Open!

This summer ABYB will be looking to field teams in the Lou Tompkins All-Star Baseball League. This league has various divisions for players who range from 13 to 21 years old. The Lou Tompkins league is a competitive league and if there is enough interest to warrant it, the A-B teams will be determined via tryouts. We will also need parent volunteers to coach each team. April 30th is the standard date used to determine age eligibility with an exception for those turning 13 during the summer (by July 31st), so the oldest eligible player would have a birth date of May 1, 1995 and the youngest eligible player would have a birth date of July 31st, 2004. All players wishing to be considered for a team must register online by May 21st. To do so, use the Summer 2017 Lou Tompkins registration programs. There is a registration program for each age division. Details about division eligibility can be found on our Summer Baseball page and in the individual registration program descriptions. Based on the number of registrants, if a tryout is to be held, more information will be sent ahead of that, but it would be expected to occur after Memorial Day. There would not be a fee to attend a tryout. Once a player has been selected to a team, they will then be assessed a fee of $200 for the season. Payment would be required once player selections have been announced.
