Another Stabbing This Morning in Acton

According to Acton's Chief of Police Frank J. Widmayer III, a man was stabbed around midnight walking east on Route 2A. Around 12:43 a.m. the police received a call from Emerson Hospital reporting a patient was being treated for a knife wound that occurred in Acton.
According to the victims report of the incident, the suspect came up from behind him and demanded his wallet and when the victim refused to turn over his wallet a struggle erupted and he was stabbed by the suspect in the left bicep. The suspect ran into the woods and the victim was taken to Emerson by a friend.
The stabbing occurred at 189 Great Road, Acton.

It has been reported that the victim is in stable condition after treatment.
Acton Police Note: The suspect is described as a white male, about six feet tall, approximately 180 pounds, athletic build, brown hair, wearing a grey/blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He had a trimmed beard and mustache.
