'Armed And Dangerous' Man Wanted For Murder

WENDELL, MA — State Police are searching for an "armed and dangerous" man in connection to a Wednesday morning homicide in the small town of Wendell.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Lewis H. Starkey, III, on charges on murder, assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Starkey is believed to be driving a red 2013 Lincoln MKX with Vermont plates QLTMKR. Call police if you see this vehicle or man. Do not approach, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Wendell, in Northwestern Mass., is a town of less than 1,000 people. It's far up Route 2, next to the Town of Orange.
