Bail Set at $2,500 for Hakeem Renelique
Dangerousness hearing for Hakeem Renelique, third suspect in Acton Bowladrome stabbing case.

Wednesday, May 23, Concord District Court: , 22, of 24 River Street, Acton was released on a $2,500 cash bail and under the terms of house arrest with a gps bracelet, orders to not commit a federal or state crime, not go near the victim (Frank Dalli) or any witnesses, no possession of fire arms and no excessive use of alcohol or drugs.
Renelique turned himself into the Acton Police on Sunday, May 20, after being charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated), and attempted murder in the case of the stabbing of at the Acton Bowladrome Wednesday, May 9.
The prosecution requested Renelique be released under the same terms of agreement but with a bail set at $5,000 because of his involvement with the crime and past run-ins with the law. The prosecution argued that during the bail hearing the parents of Ryan and Matthew Bedford (the two other suspects involved in the Bowladrome stabbing) that Renelique reached out to them after the incident and said he stabbed Dalli.

Ryan and Matthew Bedford are being held without bail until their pretrial scheduled for June 11. Ryan Bedford is charged with attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated). Matthew Bedford is being charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, attempted murder, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, use of a motor vehicle in felony/larceny and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated).
Dalli told police that he is 100 percent certain that Ryan Bedford was the person who stabbed him that night. During a photo array exercise with the Acton Police, Dalli indentified all three suspects but stated he did not know who Renelique is. When Dalli was shown a picture of Renelique he said he was 70 percent sure he was the third suspect.

The defense argued that the parent’s testimony was bias () and that even though Renelique was involved in the incident, he was the passenger of the vehicle that allegedly attempted to run over Dalli, not the driver (Matthew Bedford).
Present at the hearing in support of Renelique was his mother, the mother of his six-month year old baby, and other family members.
