Bedford Brothers Out On Bail –– To Live With Uncle

The case of Acton's Bedford brothers, Ryan, 23, and Matthew, 20, who have both been charged with the attempted murder of Frank Dalli, 35, also of Acton, have been released on $2,500 bail (each) on certain provisions from Concord District Court Judge Kunis. This case is regarding the Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

The Bedford brothers are to be released under these conditions:

• GPS bracelet monitoring
• Daily sobriety tests
• Are to live with their uncle in Easton, MA (their mother's brother)
• Avoid all contact with witnesses in the case and the victim
• Comply with a curfew time (currently unknown)
• Not allowed to obtain dangerous weapons
• Refrain from any use of alcohol or drugs

As of recent, the Bedford brothers obtained two new, separate lawyers – Hugh Curran, representing Matthew and Gerard Malone, representing Ryan.
The prosecution is on the record as stating Matthew and Ryan Bedford are dangerous for the public and should be held in jail during the case.
Their pretrial will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012.

Three people charged in case:

• Ryan is charged with attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated).
• Matthew is being charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, attempted murder, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, use of a motor vehicle in felony/larceny and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated).
• , is charged with assault & battery with a dangerous weapon (aggravated), and attempted murder.
• Renelique was released on $2,500 bail and is to follow .
• Renelique's pretrial will also be held on Monday, July 23, 2012.

Testimony from parents:

• According to the testimony from , parents of Ryan and Matthew, Hakeem contacted them and said he stabbed Dalli because it appeared to him that Dalli was going to stab Ryan.

Victim, Frank Dali, told police...

• Dalli told police he is certain Ryan was the person who stabbed him.

Previous altercation between Ryan and Frank:

• According to Dalli, a month prior to the stabbing there was an altercation between Dalli and Ryan Bedford at the Makaha Restaurant. Dalli went outside to break up a fight between his girlfriend and another girl and Ryan hit Dalli in the back of the head. According to Kim Bedford, Ryan came home that night with no shirt and a black eye. it has been stated that there has been bad blood between the two ever since.
