ACTON, MA—The Boston Globe Scholastic Writing Awards are some of the most prestigious writing awards in the country, and Acton residents were honored for their work.

Over 50 judges read entries and judged work based on originality, technical skill and personal vision. Winners received either a Golden Key, a Silver Key or honorable mentions.
