Acton Public Health Nursing Needs Your Help

SUPPORT OUR AWARD WINNING TOWN NURSING TEAM

Acton Public Health Nursing (APHN) has been providing award winning in-home nursing services to Acton residents since 1923.  Primarily serves seniors recovering from surgical or significant hospital care. The need for the service has never been higher:  1990 – 15% seniors;  2010 – 24%.  Many w/o vehicles or with physical or medical conditions restricting driving to receive care.

Like many of the HomeCare Elite Top Agencies and hospitals, Acton PHN is experiencing a temporary revenue deficit after years of surpluses.  APHN is taking a number of steps to improve its financial status and business practices and increase fund raising. But it does have a temporary shortfall.
