Directing & Editing Workshop with Acton filmmaker Christo

ActonTV will offer a two-part special workshop featuring the talents of the award winning Producer, Director and Editor Christo Tsiaras at the ActonTV studio at 16A Craig Road on Tues. May 28 & Tues. June 4, 2013 from 7-9pm.  

In the first workshop Christo will direct a cooking show featuring chefs from Twin Seafood in Acton.  Participants will observe and also have the opportunity to operate one of three camcorders.  Unlike most studio based productions Christo will not use the studio cameras or the Broadcast Pix switcher, but will instead be capturing footage on each of the three camcorders.  In the second workshop Christo will use the footage to demonstrate Final Cut Pro editing techniques and show how he edits a multi-camera, non-control room produced, program.

There will be a $50 fee for ActonTV members.

This is an advanced class for people who have already taken an ActonTV workshop. Basic knowledge of directing techniques and non-linear editing is highly recommended.
