Gray Skies Didn't Discourage Crowds at ABFM

Despite threatening clouds and spitting rain last Sunday, the Acton Boxborough Farmers Market was full steam ahead!  Pearl St. rocked with shoppers and dogs, baby carriages and bicycles;  neighbors greeting neighbors, vendors chatting up customers, and dogs sniffing dogs--what a wonderful, festive scene!  As usual most vendors sold out!  And the rain held out the whole time. 

Did you visit the Fastachi stall?  That's the one at the Windsor Ave end of the market that sells those amazing, fresh nuts and nut butters.  Nuts are irresistible to me and on Sunday I tried the Hazlenut Butter.  It's rich and dessert-worthy on its own, but also wonderful on toast, or paired with chocolate --like Nutella on sterioids.  Fastachi is one of our alternating vendors and will be at our market again on August 12.
