LWVs to Host State Senate Debate October 24

The Acton Area and Harvard League of Women Voters are hosting a Middlesex & Worcester State Senate District Candidates' Debate on October 24th from 7:30-8:30 pm in the Acton Town Hall.

State Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) and his Republican challenger Dean Cavaretta of Stow have agreed to appear at a Candidates’ Debate hosted by the League of Women of Voters on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 7:30-8:30p.m., at the Acton Town Hall Faulkner Room, 472 Main Street, Acton, MA. Both candidates are vying for the Middlesex and Worcester State Senate seat, which includes the towns of Acton, Ayer, Boxborough, Harvard, Hudson, Littleton, Maynard, Northborough (Precinct 3), Shirley, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury (Precincts  2, 3, &5), Westborough, and the city of Marlborough and the Devens community.

The Acton-Area and Harvard League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring the forum. The LWV is asking voters to propose questions for the forum by October 22 by emailing info@lwv-aa.org. (Please include street address and city or town.)

The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6. Eligible residents must be registered to vote by October 17.
