As they walk away from everything they once believed in, the risen Christ meets them right where they are, even though they don’t recognize him at first.This message invites us to reflect on how God is present in our own moments of uncertainty. Even when we can’t yet see clearly, something within us may already be stirring. This Sunday, we gather around two deeply loved scriptures, Psalm 23&nbsp;and John 10:1–10, which speak of God as our shepherd and of Christ as the one who calls us by name and leads us into abundant life. These readings remind us that we are never alone—whether we find ourselves in green pastures or walking through the valley, God is present, guiding, protecting, and restoring our souls.The sermon weaves together story and reflection, with a spirit of warmth and openness, as it explores how we come to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd. In a world full of competing voices, we are invited to listen more deeply—to trust that, through scripture, prayer, and the life of the church, we have already been formed to hear and follow Christ’s call. Even in seasons of transition or uncertainty, God continues to lead us faithfully.This service offers a word of reassurance and hope: the Shepherd goes ahead of us, goodness and mercy follow close behind, and we are being shaped—day by day—into something whole and life-giving.
