Come and worship with us on Sunday, June 14th, at 9:30am for Music Sunday!Our choir, under the direction of Ellie Armsby, will sing two glorious anthems: “Choose Something Like a Star” and “How Can I Keep from Singing?” There will be a duet with Rebecca Cazabon and Erik Heels; banjo playing by Ken Feit; a classical guitar piece played by Ben Stimac; and a flute and organ piece with Andrew Stimac, flutist. Our Bell Choir, conducted by Nancy Barnes, will play an arrangement of a beloved hymn, “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise.” Trumpeter Seelan Manickam will join Liz Carley for the prelude, postlude, and hymns. You don’t want to miss this service of music and worship.
No matter who you are, whom you love, or wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome at ACC, an open and affirming congregation.
Arrive early at 9:20am and enjoy our beautiful musical prelude. This week, our talented organist, Liz Carley, along with trumpeter Seelan Manickam, will delight us with beautiful organ music to start off our worship!

                “ALWAYS GRATEFUL FOR ANOTHER WEDNESDAY”                   ...

Looking closely at nature inspires a huge range of imaginative artwork, from abstraction and decorative work to illustration and cartooning. In this online drawing workshop, we’ll look at a wide variety of examples to get us started and then explore techniques for unleashing the imagination through the drawing process. Class size will be limited to allow time for individual feedback. All skill levels welcome. Supplies: a multipurpose sketchbook or drawing paper (preferably 9 x 12 or larger), drawing pencils of different hardnesses, erasers, pencil sharpener. You’re also welcome to use colored pencils, pens or any other materials that you’d like.
PLEASE NOTE:
<ul><li>This workshop will take place on zoom.&nbsp; Registered students will receive a link no more than three days prior to the workshop.</li><li>Recommended Supplies: drawing pencils, paper or sketchbook, eraser, pencil sharpener.</li><li>Open to ages 16+</li></ul>
About the Instructor:
Artist and educator Erica Beade worked as a scientific illustrator for many years, combining her love of science, nature, and drawing. Her traditional and digital illustrations have appeared in numerous books, exhibitions, and journals. Since 2002, she has taught observational drawing at the Harvard Museum of Natural History and many other venues, with a focus on nature. Using drawing, we’ll explore how the retina works, optical illusions, droodles, and insights from the Impressionists. All levels welcome.

Rachel Mirus is a teaching artist, nature writer, and lifelong learner. Her passion is to inspire observation, experimentation, and creativity in students of all ages through her visual art, writing, and teaching. Originally trained in biology, she has worked in research labs and museums across the country, including the California Academy of Sciences and the Harvard Museum of Natural History.&nbsp;She continues to teach&nbsp;online for the Harvard Museum of Natural History, in person for Vermont nature centers and arts organizations, and has been a resident artist at public schools in Vermont and New Hampshire. Rachel&nbsp;actively practices the skills of learning by pursuing skills she’s bad at, including Celtic harp, belly dance, and Abenaki language.&nbsp;

The West Acton Baptist Church is offering another chance to Ring their Historic Bell! On Saturday, June 6th 12-3pm the doors will be open for a $5/Bag Pop-Up Thrift &amp; Bell Ringing as a fundraiser for the Historic Steeple Project set to begin this month.&nbsp;This1854 Bronze Bell was cast by Henry Hooper in a forge once owned by Paul Revere.&nbsp;For a $20 donation one or two people may ring this extraordinary bell; for $30 up to 4 children or adults in a family may ring the bell. Donors will be given a sticker that proclaims, “I Rang the Bell” to create a buzz, as well as a card with photograph of our famous bell, and a record of their donation.&nbsp;

From March 16 to June 19, 2026 Spring Program – 14 Weeks Total (7 Indoor + 7 Outdoor) We have 14 weeks in total to complete the Spring program, following AlligatorShot’s 360º planning system. Spring is one of the four mesocycles in our annual master plan (macrocycle). You can choose the option that best fits your schedule: from 2 days per week to 3, 4, or 5 days — or simply individual days. Let’s work together to find the best option for you. Location Acton Racquet Club 10 Granite Road, Acton, MA First 7 weeks indoors Final 7 weeks outdoors on the new ARC courts Training Structure All programs follow the AlligatorShot 360º Development System: Technical · Tactical · Physical · Mental We build personal development plans for every player, tailored to their specific needs and stage of development for competitive tennis. Fitness and functional training are integrated into every academy session. Program Options Pre-Competition Academy For developing players beginning the competitive pathway (ages approx. 10–14) Monday / Wednesday / Friday 3:30–6:00 PM Functional training: 5:30–6:00 PM Competition Academy For tournament-level players (ages approx. 12–18) Monday–Friday 5:00–8:00 PM Integrated fitness: 5:00–6:00 PM Cocos Academy (Red / Orange / Green Ball) For players ages 5–10 building their tennis foundations. Beginners and experienced Cocos welcome. Red Ball Mon / Wed / Fri — 4:00–5:00 PM Green Ball I Mon / Wed / Fri — 5:00–6:00 PM Green Ball II Tue / Thu — 4:30–6:00 PM Weekend Options • Private lessons available on Saturdays • Sunday High School Drop-In Clinic — 1:00–4:00 PM • Weekend events and tournaments coming soon Contact Po directly to coordinate scheduling.
