Worship with Us! Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost

Look, if your boss called you into the office and said, "I know you clocked in five minutes before quitting time, but here's a full day's pay, no notes," you would not complain. You would frame that paycheck. Yet the guys who sweated it out since dawn take one look at their equal pay and lose their minds, because apparently nothing ruins a good mood like someone else getting a good deal. This Sunday, as we launch our Faith in Our Future stewardship campaign, Rev. Karen puts that delightfully generous landowner next to a wilderness full of bread that spoils the second anyone tries to hoard it, and King David, mid-building-campaign, basically saying "please, it's not like I made this money myself." Grumpy laborers, uncooperative bread, and a king who will not take credit - come find out what they have to do with our stewardship campaign.

Come and worship with us on Sunday, September 20th, at 9:30am. During this Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost, as we welcome Rev. Karen Hodges to the pulpit. She will lead us in a service full of prayer, scripture, reflection, and inspiration.
