The Iron Work Farm continues its series of “4th Sunday” open houses at Jones Tavern (128 Main St., 1 to 3 p.m.) and the Jones-Faulkner Homestead (5 High St., 3 to 5 p.m.)
Visit the homes of two families closely involved with the American Revolution. Jones Tavern, Acton’s oldest standing tavern, is open from 1 to 3 p.m. At the Faulkner Homestead from 3 to 5, meet members of the Nashoba Valley Weavers’ Guild, and take part in the ongoing archaeological investigation of “tailings” from the recent driveway excavations, guided by archaeologist Kimberley Connors.
