Easter Service at First Parish in Acton
Easter will be celebrated at two child-friendly services at 9 and 11 a.m., Sunday, April 5, at First Parish Church in Stow

The Easter experience is not really about what happened 2000 years ago. Nor is it something that one has to wait for an afterlife to experience. The message of Easter lives in our lives now. Every time we experience the love that is stronger than death, every time we find new life in places we thought barren and cold, every time we overcome the seemingly impossible obstacles in our lives is an Easter Experience. After the long, hard winter this year, we especially need to celebrate Easter and find the Easter experiences in our lives .
At First Parish Church’s Easter services at 9 and 11 a.m., there will be a special Easter Message for children, drawing from the very popular movie “Frozen.“ Then the the children leave for a resurrection egg hunt, where they’ll have fun while learning about the biblical story of Easter. As always, child care is provided for the youngest so parents can fully participate in the service.
Everyone is invited to attend one of our services, which will be full of special Easter music from our choirs, instrumentalist, and soloists. The services will be full of Hallelujahs and everyone is invited to join in the singing of the great “Hallelujah” chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
