Concord Chorus performs Mozart's Requiem at its 70th Anniversary Concert

Join the Concord Chorus at its 70th Anniversary Concert, featuring Mozart’s magnificent “Requiem,” in the version completed by musicologist and keyboardist Robert Levin, and the world premiere of Michael Schachter’s “Uriel,” a dramatic setting of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem commissioned especially for this concert.

Kevin Leong conducts the 110-voice Concord Chorus and a professional orchestra on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Brigid (1981 Massachusetts Avenue) in Lexington, Massachusetts. The concert features a superb quartet of Boston-based soloists: soprano Teresa Wakim, mezzo-soprano Margaret Lias, tenor Charles Blandy, and baritone Robert Honeysucker.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors, and $10 for children and students and can be purchased online at www.concordchorus.org or over the phone at (978) 254-1551. Ample parking is available behind the church.
