Creepy Home Repair Services Truck - Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Knee Injury:

  • 4/30/12 - 11:41 a.m. - Concord Road: A man walked into the police station with an injured knee. The man was brought to Emerson.

Lost & Found:

  • 4/30/12 - 12:34 p.m. - Great Road: An anonymous person dropped off a license that he/she found.

  • 4/30/12 - 2:08 p.m. - Durkee Road: Someone reported to the police that a black New Hampshire pickup truck with three strobe lights on the roof was going house to house soliciting for home repair services.

Leaning Too Close:

  • 4/30/12 - 5:30 p.m. - Hosmer Street: Police received a report about a tree slightly leaning on some cable wires.

  • 4/30/12 - 5:54 p.m. - Nagog Park Drive: A motorist ran out of gas.

Weird Triangle:

  • 4/30/12 - 5:58 p.m. - Great Road: Police responded to a report of a triangular object hanging from the cable wires and discovered it was just a Verizon splitter box.

No Permit - No Fire:

  • 4/30/12 - 8:50 p.m. - Homestead Street: Police and fire responded to an outside fire. The homeowner was advised about getting a permit. The fire was extinguished.

Domestic:

  • 4/30/12 - 8:51 p.m. - Central Street: A woman came into the police station with her two children to report a domestic issue.

Hit and Run:

  • 5/1/12 - 4:43 p.m. - Mass Ave: A man reported that a woman driving a car hit some of his property and left the scene. He was not sure if there was any damage.

Home Alone:

  • 5/1/12 - 7:09 p.m. - Pope Road: Police responded to a call from an 18-year-old girl who was home alone and heard a noise. No problems were found.
