Driver Survives Icy Plunge in Acton
A 31-year-old Maynard man climbed out of his vehicle after crashing into a brook on Central Street Wednesday night.
A driver survived after his car made an icy plunge on Central Street Wednesday night.
Police said Nicholas Costanzo, 31, of Maynard, was driving a Chevrolet Cruze in the area of 165 Central St. at about 6:30 p.m. when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a brook. He was able to climb out of the vehicle to safety. Police said he had hypothermia.
Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
